Kind of slow week

Well last week was kind of slow only had two school the whole week. Tuesday’s school was in a little town north of where we are staying very narrow country roads wind through this mountain area, some still have ice on the roads cause towns are so small. Over all the week went fine, although where we are staying is a very small town, but we stayed within our budget for lodging. You know you are in a small town when the nearest Walmart is 20 miles away. Friday we had a school down by Pittsburg, so on the way we stopped in schools around the area to see if they would be interested in having us come to their school most were pretty friendly and might have a few come up and watch us on Tuesday at show in Ridgeway. I am beginning to like going to Christian school so much easier to talk to and most are glad to see that there is someone out there doing things for the Lord. Friday’s show was different, we got it setup and ready to go only to find out that the show was an hour later but we were ready to go so we thought it was going to be a good day. We got the show started and I left it with Deric and went to go make a phone call to our boss, while I was on the phone a student had a seizure and one had a bad nose bleed, I was unaware of that till later. So the show got canceled, was kind of disappointing but everything happens for a reason not sure why that reason is. We later found out that a second student had a seizure when he went back to class. Last week we mainly stayed in our hotel and just relaxed which is good, cause this week we are on the move nearly every day. Went to church yesterday at Assemblies of God church hoping that this would be a good church to visit. It was a very small church but lively, they had a guest speaker that was there, later found out he was familiar with the IPHC (International Pentecostal Holiness Church). He was a good speaker and we talked afterwards not often to you meet people from the same denomination on the road. He is a traveling Evangelist, and travels the world with his family been doing this since 2010. We talked afterward and plan to keep in touch and correspond. It has amazed me how God has brought people in my life over the last few months, often when I least expect it. As Christians we may not always realize what God does for us because we are so busy with our daily live, but when you are on the road and you depend on Him daily to provide for you, it then that you see that He is in control. If you are a Christian I challenge you to take time to look for the things that God does in your life, and thank Him for that as you do you will see that He is in control of everything and does realy care for you. — This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com
